At present, Bedford Borough Council is unable to provide orange recycling sacks to local collection points for distribution.
Where residents use a bin for their recycling the Borough Council asks that residents make full use of their bin by squashing items down and making sure items go into the bin loose. Extra recycling will be collected alongside the recycling bin, this should be placed into a cardboard box or clear sack for the crews to collect.
Where residents use only orange sacks for their recycling the Borough Council asks that they email recycling@bedford.gov.uk so that they can discuss their requirements.
