I hereby give notice that a Meeting of Cople Parish Council will be held Monday 17th November 2025 at 7.30pm at Cople Village Hall

1. Receive apologies for absence (19:30)
2. Receive declarations of interest in any items on the agenda and consider granting of any dispensations (19:31)
3. Approve minutes of the meetings held on the 15th September 2025 (19:32)
4. Public Participation (19:33)
Standing Orders will be suspended for a period of up to 15 minutes to allow members of the public to address the Council in relation to the business on the agenda or request matters to be discussed at a subsequent meeting. Please note that this is limited to a maximum of 3 minutes per member.

b. Discuss and agree any comments for planning application 25/02168/FUL. Single Storey rear extension with dual pitched roof and gable end. Existing Polycarbonate conservatory roof to be replaced with tiled roof. Bay window to living room to be enlarged. 25 Rye Crescent, Cople
c. Discuss the proposal contained in the scoping opinion for River Valley Park and agree action

a. Receive and approve schedule of receipts & payments

c. Discuss the action plan and budget for 2026-2027
d. Receive and accept the audited AGAR
12. Green Infrastructure – includes Millennium Woods and Rights of Way (21:05)
a. Discuss and agree quotations for chipping debris in the woods
b. Discuss and agree quotations for felling in the woods in 2026/2027
c. Discuss maintenance works to the ditch adjacent to the woods and the culvert at the entrance and agree action
d. Discuss alternative route adjacent to Right of Way 7
13. Amenity & Highways (21:15)
a. Report any Highways issues
b. Discuss installation of speed indicator devices and funding for the posts and installation costs
c. Discuss removal of the bus shelter on Willington Road and agree action
d. Discuss and agree location of defibrillator and Parish Council co-funding
e. Discuss location of the bin by the entrance to the church yard and agree any action
f. Discuss numbering of the Parish Council street lights
14. Events (21:25)
a. Discuss and agree arrangements for the Parish Council Christmas light switch on and receive an update on activities organised by the group of village organisations
b. Consider a donation to the Friends of Sheerhatch Primary School towards a bouncy castle for the village Christmas event
