I hereby give notice that the Annual Meeting of Cople Parish Council will be held Monday 20th May 2024 at 7.30pm at Cople Village Hall
Agenda
All members are hereby summoned to attend. Members of the Public and Press are welcome.
1. Election of Officers
a) Elect a Chair of the Council
b) Declaration of Acceptance of Office by the appointed Chair
c) Elect a Vice-Chair of the Council
d) Declaration of Acceptance of Office by the appointed Vice-Chair
e) Assign additional responsibilities to Councillors
2. Receive and approve apologies for absence
3. Receive declarations of interest in any items on the agenda and consider granting of any dispensations
4. Confirm the minutes of the meeting held 18th March 2024
5. Agree Parish Council meeting dates for 2024-2025
6. Public Participation
Standing Orders will be suspended for a period of up to 15 minutes to allow members of the public to address the Council in relation to the business on the agenda or request matters to be discussed at a subsequent meeting. Please note that this is limited to a maximum of 3 minutes per member.

d. Discuss and agree maintenance arrangements for 2024/2025

13. Amenity & Highways
a. Report any Highways issues and review log
b. Discuss issues with the surface of Right of Way 7 and agree action
c. Agree location of SID on Water End
d. Approve the grass cutting agreement with Bedford Borough Council
e. Consider and agree response to Electric Vehicle Charging Strategy consultation
f. Consider and agree response to Rights of Way Improvement Plan 2024 – 2029 Consultation

a. Update on decisions from recent planning applications

a. Receive and approve schedule of receipts & payments
b. Receive current bank balances and reconciliation
c. Agree Parish Council insurance for 2024/2025
d. Agree BATPC Affiliation fees for 2024/2025
e. Consider reallocation of the reserve for a contribution towards average speed cameras to a contribution towards refurbishment of the play area
