EMERGENCY NOTICE
Bridleway Closed to Horses
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14(2) EMERGENCY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ON (CARDINGTON: BRIDLEWAY NO 2 AND COPLE: BRIDLEWAY NO 14)
BEDFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE THAT from the date hereof to the 8th August 2024, both dates inclusive, or until the proposed works are completed, no persons shall proceed on horseback or lead a horse, along Bridleway No 2 and No 14 which extends from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) TL 1057 4711 (Map point A) to OS GR TL 1120 4535 (Map point B).
This emergency closure is required due to holes in the surface of bridleway caused by animals. It is expected the closure will be required for a period of up to 3 weeks and this will be followed by a Temporary Closure notice.
There is no alternative route for users while the closure is in place.
