I hereby give notice that the Annual Meeting of Cople Parish Council will be held Monday 15th May 2023 at 7.30pm at Cople Village Hall
Agenda
All members are hereby summoned to attend. Members of the Public and Press are welcome.
Please do not attend the meeting if you have symptoms of Covid-19 or have tested positive for Covid-19
1. Election of Officers
a) Elect a Chair of the Council
b) Declaration of Acceptance of Office by the appointed Chair
c) Elect a Vice-Chair of the Council
d) Declaration of Acceptance of Office by the appointed Vice-Chair
e) Assign additional responsibilities to Councillors
2. Receive and approve apologies for absence
3. Receive declarations of interest in any items on the agenda and consider granting of any dispensations
4. Confirm the minutes of the meeting held 20th March 2023
5. Agree Parish Council meeting dates for 2023-2024
6. Public Participation
Standing Orders will be suspended for a period of up to 15 minutes to allow members of the public to address the Council in relation to the business on the agenda or request matters to be discussed at a subsequent meeting. Please note that this is limited to a maximum of 3 minutes per member.

10. Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group update and agreement of recommendations
11. Amenity & Highways
a. Report any Highways issues
b. Approve the grass cutting agreement with Bedford Borough Council
12. Planning
a. Update on decisions from recent planning applications
b. Discuss responding to planning applications and agree action
13. Finance
a. Receive and approve schedule of receipts & payments
b. Receive current bank balances and reconciliation
c. Agree signatories for Cople Parish Council accounts with Lloyds Bank
d. Agree signatories and banking mandate for Cople Parish Council NS & I Account
e. Agree Parish Council insurance for 2023/2024
f. Agree BATPC Affiliation fees for 2023/2024
14. Discuss and agreed the Internal Audit and Annual Return 2022-2023
a. Receive and accept the Internal Audit Report 2022-2023
